We strengthened and expanded the work of various organizations and networks of accompaniers in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, with the aim of improving access to safe abortion.<\/p>\n

mifepristone in Argentina and its inclusion in the essential supplies list in Ecuador. This strategy ensures that the health system has units that function as training centers for other health professionals and its model of care is an example to be replicated in other health units.
