The feminist movement continues to gain ground and, with it, the demands and needs of women and people with childbearing capacity are evolving. Faced with this development, we decided to take a step forward: we redesigned our strategic plan, strengthened our organizational system and renewed our intervention model. <\/strong><\/span> <\/h3>\n

How do we do it?<\/h2>\n

We work under a comprehensive approach focused on women and other people with gestational capacity.<\/p>\n

It is part of a larger environment that we call the “<\/span>sustainable abortion ecosystem<\/a>.<\/span> This ecosystem considers all the factors that influence a person’s ability to access safe abortion: from personal knowledge and power, to community support, to public policy, to the quality of health services. <\/p>\n

We work together with organizations, institutions and communities to build an ecosystem that supports every person in their reproductive decisions. This includes ensuring access to contraception, providing accessible and quality health services, and promoting laws that protect the right to health and bodily autonomy. <\/p>\n

Our comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach seeks to create an environment where women, girls and others with childbearing capacity can exercise their autonomy, supported by strong health systems and informed, supportive communities. At lpas LAC, our Theory of Change is not only a roadmap for action, but a strategic guide to a future where every person can exercise reproductive autonomy to the fullest. With decades of experience and an unwavering commitment, we have designed a roadmap that comprehensively addresses the factors that affect access to reproductive health. <\/p>\n

Our theory is based on five key objectives, three of which are externally focused on transforming the environment and two of which are internally focused on strengthening our organization. This multidimensional approach allows us to be effective change agents in a constantly evolving ecosystem.
