Its members bring experience from across Latin America and the Caribbean, including work with multilateral and feminist organizations, and key advocacy spaces across the region. This diversity strengthens collective decision-making and provides a strategic vision to continue advancing our regional presence and action.  <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Edurne Cardenas<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> is a feminist activist with over twenty years of experience in human rights and public policy. She played a key role in the creation of Argentina\u2019s Ministry of Women.  <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sofia Regalado<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  is co-founder of Morras Help Morras, a feminist organization in Mexico focused on reproductive justice. She studied philosophy and connects academia with action, with an emphasis on economic justice and movement sustainability. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pearl Friedberg <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> leads Ipas\u2019 U.S. Program working to expand access to abortion through an intersectional and globally informed approach. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Paola Ya\u00f1ez-Inofuentes<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> is an Afro-feminist activist, coordinates the Network of Afro-Latin American and Afro-Caribbean and <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Afro-Caribbean and Diaspora Women&#8217;s Network, and was <\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Director of the Afro-Bolivian Center for Integral and Community Development (CADIC). Her work focuses on advancing gender agendas and the rights of Afro-descendant women. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" xml:lang=\"ES-ES\" lang=\"ES-ES\" class=\"TextRun SCXW70179869 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW70179869 BCX0\">With the renewal of our data-contrast=\"auto\">Her approach is defined by advancing community participation, fostering innovation in advocacy strategies, and the strengthening of regional partnerships. <\/span><span process<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"134245418\":true,\"134245529\":true,\"335559738\":160,\"335559739\":80}\"> <\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The renewal of the Board and the appointment of the Executive Director were carried out through participatory processes, guided by principles of transparency, diversity and institutional rigor. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\" xml:lang=\"ES-MX\" lang=\"ES-MX\" class=\"TextRun SCXW78513587 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW78513587 BCX0\">In a first stage, the team was involved to identify profiles for the Assembly and collectively build the selection process.<\/span><\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\" xml:lang=\"ES-MX\" lang=\"ES-MX\" class=\"TextRun SCXW78513587 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW78513587 BCX0\"><span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Once appointed, the Assembly led the selection process for the Executive Director, through an open, competitive, structured mechanism accompanied by an independent commission, which considered more than 156 applications and took 3 rounds of selection to culminate with the appointment of Diana Moreno as Executive Director.  <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With these processes, we reaffirm our commitment to feminist governance grounded on transparency, participation and shared leadership. <strong>We enter this new chapter convinced that, together with the Board and under Diana Moreno\u2019s leadership, we will
