Reproductive health data

Decision-making in sexual and reproductive health requires reliable, up-to-date and accessible information. With this objective in mind, Ipas LAC developed this data repository, a space that concentrates key indicators to understand the sexual and reproductive health landscape in Mexico.

The site allows you to explore data by state and by year, using filters that facilitate the search for information on topics such as fertility, births, contraception, hospital admissions for abortion, maternal deaths and gender violence, among others.

All graphs and indicators can be downloaded in different formats, which facilitates their use in analysis, reports, presentations and advocacy processes.

In addition, you can download state fact sheets that present a visual and synthetic summary of the situation in each state, ready to be shared or integrated into different communication products.

Our goal is for this tool to be used by research teams, civil society, journalists, decision makers and interested citizens. By facilitating access to open data, we seek to promote informed discussion, citizen monitoring and evidence-based public policies, contributing to improve reproductive health and rights in the country.

Ipas LAC encourages the use, public dissemination and reproduction, in part or in whole, of the information contained in this tool, provided that the source is acknowledged. In no case may it be used for commercial purposes, and its distribution is completely free of charge.
