Health and well-being: arguments for accessing legal abortion procedures in Mexico.
This material is aimed at public and private sector health personnel, as well as medical and nursing students and trainees, to promote the effective implementation of abortion services for women’s health reasons.
It includes information related to the legal framework, human rights standards and bioethical criteria applicable to determine its appropriateness.
It is hoped that this information will enable informed decision-making and respect for women’s right to request a termination of pregnancy and access safe abortion services in Mexico.
