Legal termination of pregnancy (LTP) is a human rights issue. It allows individuals to exercise their right to decide freely on the continuation of a pregnancy in the early stages of gestational age.
In Chiapas, the law allows for the legal termination of pregnancy by free decision and without the need for an explanation of the reasons for the decision, up to 12 completed weeks of gestation.
