Legal Interruption of Pregnancy (ILE)
In the state of Oaxaca it is legal and a right of individuals to access health services for the termination of a pregnancy up to 12 completed weeks of gestation, regardless of the reason for the termination. This is known as Legal Termination of Pregnancy (ILE).
It is performed at the free decision of the person, without the need for an explanation of the reasons for it, within the period of twelve weeks of gestation.
