A regional campaign that uses soccer to talk about what matters: the right to decide about one’s own body.
In soccer, whoever is on the field is the one who decides.

Nobody debates that.

However, only 55% of women in the world* can make autonomous decisions about their own bodies in matters of health, contraception and sexual relations.

Although Latin America has made historic advances in sexual and reproductive rights, these issues are still difficult to discuss, especially with those who are unfamiliar with them.

* UNFPA Report: State of World Population 2021: My Body Is My Own

The #ElVerdaderoHincha campaign leverages the 2026 World Cup as a narrative vehicle to hack the digital conversation and connect with young Latin American men to open conversations about bodily autonomy and sexual and reproductive rights in accessible language that invites them to listen and reflect.
